Castle Tavern, at the northern end of the Great Glen Way
The Ben Nevis Inn is at the foot of the Ben Nevis mountain path
Cycling Routes
The Invergarry Hotel is on the Great Glen Cycle Route, and has a drying room for walkers, climbers & cyclists, plus storage for bikes
The Inch Hotel at Fort Augustus, a centre for Outdoor Activities is also handy for the Great Glen Cycle Route
Canals
Clachnaharry Inn, overlooking the western sea lock of the Caledonian Canal
Bothy Bar and Lock Inn, are both beside the canal locks at Fort Augustus
Eagle - Inn on the Loch, at Laggan Locks – not by but on the Caledonian Canal
Ferries
The Corran Ferry, which crosses Loch Linnhe to the Ardnamurchan peninsula is 500 metres from the Four Seasons Country Pub & Restaurant
Ferry Boat Inn (FBI) is a short stroll from the Western Isles ferry terminal in Ullapool
The Pub at the Pier could not be better located for thirsty passengers waiting to board ferries to Lochmaddy on North Uist or Tarbert on the Isle of Harris
